November 30th, Day 51.

I got carried away in the festivities of Thanksgiving to realize that my deadlines for CSUCI have already passed, and thought I was practically ready to swear on my mother's grave that I had at least submitted the application, I forgot to pay the application fee... therefore leaving my application, void, and all my chances, dead.

So, to heal the wounds, I jumped into a warm bath, turned off all the lights, opened the window and drowned out the background noises with City and Colour. And then, my resolutions were blown away by my father's requests to "hurry up and get going on scholarship applications".
At least I'll have the night to sleep it off.
