Day Three.
I’ve filled out so many applications, recommendation forms and request forms that I’m fairly certain my fingers are hanging by invisible threads, and let me just ask: What good comes from taking the SAT and ACTs?
I’m sure there must have some importance, but does your admittance really depend on whether you get a 1600 or a 1350? Isn't it just a evaluation of who did or didn't fall asleep during the math portion? Or who skipped the writing section? (Which, for starters, is totally bogus in the first place. Hardly any colleges count it!)
On the bright side, I did manage to stay awake for all the sections by watching the guy in front of me nervously play with his hair. Unfortunately, my math score may have suffered, slightly... I sort of got lost in thinking about all the other thing I could be doing on a Saturday morning, only to be brought back by the 5-minute warning bell, with only 3/4 of the section done.
Here's my final word on the subject: Never forget to bring a calculator.
